Students after completion of an Undergraduate Medical Degree can become General Physicians and can earn approximately 5-12 lakhs per annum.
National Medical Commission (NMC) which is the statutory body for Medical Education in India has also introduced the National Exit Test (NEXT) which shall be operational from 2023. The students need to appear for the NEXT Exam and successfully clear it, to be granted a Medical License to Practice in India.
